Help with drug identification? i need some help identifying illegal drugs. i think some of my friends are on them but i don't know for sure, and i would appreciate help. i would like a website that has a complete list of drugs, their effects, and their side effects. i tried some websites and found them to not have any drugs that they could be on well, its hard to tell. Some days they are wacked out, other days they are dull and boring, and other days they act...insane. i would say, out of the 3, 1 would be on hallucinogens, another on a combo of uppers and downers and i can't describe the other one, which is why i need a complete list.

pill/drug identification advice? My 4 year old daughter was given a unknown pill, her description is that it was round, approx 5mm dia, pink and red with white dots/spots/speckles and a picture of a butterfly on it. Have any of you any idea what it is? I know what it may be, but need a definite answer on what it actually is and if anybody has seen one. This is VERY important so please, no speculations. Many thanks. Thanks for the replies up to now, especially the link that shows different MDMA pills with butterflies on, most helpful and gave my daughter something to point at. Luckily, she didn't swallow it. She said it tasted horrible and hurt her tongue so she spat it out. Police have been informed but as I informed them Friday and they didn't see her until yesterday, it's been a waste of time.
Do fast food restaurants (wienerschnitzel in particular) require drug tests upon employment? I've completed the first interview and they've asked me back for my ssn and identification. Will they drug test me and if so, when?
Can Marijuana be laced with morphine, what would be identification signs on drug itself & what will be the e? I'm quite sure what I smoked couldn't have been laced since I know the original source of it! However, I was checked in the emergency room the next day (I have been smoking from the very same batch for the past 1 month or so, & i'm a social/regular smoker) 1 nurse who visited me told me that I have THC & Opiates in my system, but i told her i only smoked weed & she said it could have been laced with morphine, though I did let her know I was injected with some in the ambulance & there's no way the stuff I smoked was laced cuz I'm 120% sure about the source of it & it just isn't laced! anyways! wanted 2 get a clarification around here, since the medical people seemed way 2 biased. btw: the "doctor" who came & talked to me told me that she could not find anything wrong with my blood test results nor my xrays. everything's fine she said. You have had an anxiety attack. since this week I stayed up about 40 hours (sober tho) to study & had much stress in general due to 3 tests & 1 essay I had last smoked about 20 hours b4 the incident & just about 4-5 hits from a small pipe. It was hyroponic & rather potent though. next day around 3 pm after lunch all of a sudden my heart starts beating really loud & fast & I felt a fluctuating hotness/weird pain in my chest. however I've been having a weird feeling that would come & go around my left/center side of my chest/back 4 a few months now... some times it feels like there's a cramped muscle somwer inside dat area or like deep inside there's a pin poking in some muscle. weird/burnin feeling, not 2 bad though, noticable but not botherin much! I've been a smoker 4 a few years now & am 24.I dont use other drugs/medicines, jsut multivitamin & fish oil daily. I have been overweight in the past 10 years (now +60 lbs) & recently started exercising on/off though, any chance i get i go, but school takes most of my time! I had 2 cans of coke earlier in teh day-caffeine. This was like nothing I had experienced b4 nt evn cls The pot was home grown, so impossible something was wrong with it. and as I said my intake in the past 48 hours of it was coke zero (a few cans 5-6) some salad, steak, bread (all of which have been used from the same purchases for about 5 days or even more now) Thnx for all the help provided :)

what is this pill? (pill identification question)? It's supposedly a sleeping pill, but i'm not sure if that's true. It's pink, round, with HC 3 on one side. On the other side, it's scored down the center. The HC is separated from the 3 by a line, like a fraction (HC over 3). I tried searching all the drug identification sites but they came up with nothing.

Can someone identify this tablet please? They are 8mm in diameter, round. They are off white - perhaps a very pale yellow - but only slightly. They have a scribe line across one face. Above the line is DZ and below is the number 5. I immediately thought 5mg valium (diazepam) but couldn't confirm this on a drug identification site. The reverse side has a symbol - almost like two diamond shapes touching to form a sorta C. It is hard to describe. Any help please...
Brief identification of ecstasy? So basically I would like information that includes: the smell and texture of the drug (what it smells or feels like) The street and medical names for the drug And when using the drug goes from being acceptable to a problem.
Not sure when my drug test is but...please, I need your help!? I applied to Home Depot in January, and they have finally called me last week on sunday (Feb. 15th). However, I smoked on Friday night. We passed around 2 blunts. I am not a heavy smoker. I've smoked a couple times before around the fall of 2006, then I smoked once in October 2008, which was about 4 months ago. I've been drinking 2 bottles of water, and probably that's not enough, but i'm also going to start exercising. I'm 5'0 about 125lbs. i'm kinda round, but not so chubby. So I have a couple questions: 1. What method does Home Depot (or other places) use for drug testing? I think it's urine, but just wanted to ask around. 2. Do you have to show some type of Identification when you buy a home drug testing kit? or can you just put it in your basket and buy it like any other items? or by selfchecks? 3. I've been researching about how far back a urine test can detect drugs, in my case weed. If i'm not mistaken.. Urine: 2 weeks to 1 month Oral: a couple days ~ 1 or 2 weeks Blood: 2 weeks to a couple months Hair: a couple months ~ a year correct me if i'm wrong please. if anyone has an accurate or correct information, please tell me. I'm done doing drugs. I should be in trouble, but I believe this is a chance and an opportunity for myself to get my mind straight and stop. Even if I've only done so little of it, i still did it and i can't change that. I'm through with it. DRUG FREE IS THE WAY TO BE.

What drug do the Glee kids get high on in Episode 6? I can't believe I'm asking this, but I've been crazy busy lately, and I need to be able to wake myself up. I was watching old episodes of Glee with my friend, and we came across the "Vitamin D" episode. I know the effects of the medication were probably over-done, but I was wondering which drug they were taking. To me it appears to have been some sort of decongestant. Those have pseudo ephedrine, but that's illegal. (at least without proper identification). Is there anything that will wake me up (more than coffee, believe me, I've exhausted that resource) and energize me? What would you suggest? I've done coffee, tea, energy shots... I do track, am editor of the school paper, volunteer, and am in all Honors and AP classes. I'm running out of steam. I need help!
Is the use of a drug dog on a pedestrian constitutional? About a year ago I was stopped by a police officer on my walk home. I was very polite with the officer, provided identification, explained to him where I was headed and where I was coming from after he had informed me that he stopped me due to the report of a robbery in the neighborhood. Afterwards the officer inquired if I had any "dope" on me. To which I responded no, I actually was in the possession of a small amount of cocaine. When asked if he could search me I very respectfully declined and explained that my refusal was protected by the 4th amendment, allowing me the right to deny the search of myself or any of my belongings without a warrant, or probable cause. The officer then threatened to call in a drug dog. At this time I fessed up to my bump of coke and what not, you can finish the story yourself... So my question is... Would the officer have been able to constitutional hold me in detainment to wait for a drug dog to arrive during this stop?
What is UR opinion 3 illegals charged in 2 burglaries & 2 illegals arrested in drug raid better life here or ? LEAGUE CITY — Police charged three Honduran men Thursday in connection with two burglaries in League City. The burglaries were the latest in a string of break-ins plaguing the city. This week, 13 houses and buildings have been burglarized, according to police records. While police Sgt. David Hausam said the upswing in home burglaries seems to be a national phenomenon, he said League City has seen a noticeable increase in the number of burglarized homes in 2009. The arrests of three men Thursday charged with breaking into two buildings sends a message that police are diligently trying to catch burglars, Hausam said. The three men are charged with burglarizing two buildings — a house in the 2900 block of Carolina Avenue and a building in the 400 block of Palomino Street, which might be headquarters for a Bible study group, Hausam said. Police have yet to identify the owners. A neighbor called police after he noticed the men around the building on Palomino Street and heard glass breaking, Hausam said. When police arrived, two men fled on foot, Hausam said. Police arrested the two at Clear Springs High School on Palomino Street, Hausam said. Police found the third man in a black car at the dead end of Palomino, Hausam said. Police suspect all three men, who had Honduran identification, are in the country illegally, Hausam said. The League City Police Department notified U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement of the arrests. MORRISTOWN - A drug raid this afternoon led to two arrests and the seizure of about $1,600 in cocaine and painkillers, authorities said. Guillermo Flores Moreno, 30, and Jose Luis Vargaz, 24, each face charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, cocaine and hydrocodone, according to the Morristown Police Department. Police call both men illegal immigrants. Officers served a search warrant just before 3 p.m. at the men's apartment on Central Church Road. The search turned up about 16 grams of powder cocaine, a hydrocodone pill, digital scales, plastic baggies, bogus Social Security cards and about $725 in cash, according to a news release. http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/jul/24/morristown-drug-raid-leads-to-2-arrests/http://galvestondailynews.com/story.lasso?ewcd=20d1a2f6bb828d52 How many other illegals of this nature a lurking in the shadows ? Why would a judge grant bail to an illegal alien drug suspect who had been deported 28 times instead of? Why would a judge grant bail to an illegal alien drug suspect who had been deported 28 times instead of turning him over to federal authorities ? Recently Houston County Judge John Steensland set a $20,000 cash bond for a Mexican national who had been charged with felony obstruction of justice for giving deputies a false identification. Authorities say Luis Hernandez-Arellano has some 32 aliases on his rap sheet and reportedly has been deported from the United States 28 times. The Dothan Eagle reports that the suspect had posted a $15,000 bond in neighboring Geneva County a week earlier after being charged with felony conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance. Authorities in Geneva County reportedly filed a motion to revoke his bond there because of the additional charges in Houston County. Even though Hernandez-Arellano remains in the Houston County jail pending trial, Ira Mehlman of the Federation for American Immigration Reform finds it hard to believe that a man who has been deported that many times would not have been turned over to federal authorities. "When somebody has already been deported and has come back to the United States, they have violated a federal law -- and the federal government ought to be brought into it and prosecute this guy to the fullest extent of the law," he contends. "Unfortunately, given the position that this administration has taken since [taking] office, it's not clear what they would do. But certainly it is the obligation of the judge in Alabama to inform the federal government and let them know that they have somebody who has clearly violated federal law." According to Mehlman, this kind of action by local judges is all too common across the U.S. Do you feel illegals get preferred treatment ?
Can you believe this $20,000 cash bond 80 counts of money laundering &financing human smugglers & drug deal? A Scottsdale man who ran four Western Union stores in Phoenix and Mesa was indicted Tuesday on 80 counts of money laundering and other crimes that are suspected of financing human smugglers and drug dealers. Attorney General Terry Goddard announced the indictment of Bruce Dennis Love, 50, who owns homes in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. Two other men suspected in the four-year-old, $56.8 million money-laundering scheme were also indicted. Their names have been withheld because they have not been served with the indictment, said Andrea Esquer, Goddard's spokeswoman. Vincent Picard, spokesman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Phoenix, which participated in the 23-month-long investigation, said the indictments shut down one of the "illegal support structures for human smugglers and drug traffickers. This investigation hit them where it hurts." This is how the scheme worked, investigators said. Coyotes would bring illegal immigrants from Mexico into Phoenix. At coyotes' directions, the immigrants' family members would wire money to Love's Western Union stores to pay the smugglers to take the immigrants to particular destinations. Smugglers or their human cargo would go to Love's stores to pick up the cash. Love received a Western Union fee on each transaction. The indictment and court documents said Love ran his operation out of three locations in Phoenix and one in Mesa, which conducted Western Union and check-cashing services. One of the stores was tucked into a small back room inside a Mexican butcher shop in west-central Phoenix. Love was warned as early as 2004 by one of his store clerks that he would "get in trouble" for catering to his "coyote clientele," according to a court document. But Love told the clerk that the "coyotes were driving his (money-transfer) commissions" and he demanded that such wires be paid by his cashiers, the court record said. Love courted the coyote trade because the high- volume business boosted his commissions, court records said. According to court records, Love's employees estimated that 80 to 100 percent of all Western Union transactions in his stores were intended to pay smugglers bringing illegal immigrants into the United States. Love's suspected money-laundering scheme was unraveled by the Arizona Financial Crimes Task Force, which includes ICE, the Phoenix Police Department, the Department of Public Safety and the Attorney General's Office. The indictment claims that Love and the two unidentified suspects violated state money-laundering laws by making false statements and reports, not filing suspicious-activity reports, and accepting false personal identification from people receiving the wired money. Love, also indicted on charges of conspiracy, participating in a criminal syndicate, and other counts, was arrested Friday. He was released on $20,000 cash bond and was ordered to surrender his passport. He is expected to be arraigned in Maricopa County Superior Court at 8:30 a.m. next Wednesday. If convicted, Love could face up to 100 years in prison terms if served consecutively or 23 years if served concurrently. http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/ss/border/74873.php
Is universal heath care for America a bad idea? It strikes me as odd as the only Americans unable to garner free medical care are those that pay the vast brunt of taxes in this country. If I was a illegal alien with no identification I would not be asked to pay for my medical expenses. If I was a homeless drug addict I would be given free medical care. Instead of paying for useless wars would we not be better served giving working class Americans a chance to benefit from the exorbitant taxes they pay routinely? I apologize to Wiliemom for any offense to her or her useless wars.
I found some pills while cleaning...? A peach/pink oval tablet inscribed: 93over28 and blank on the other side A teal and yellow capsule that says: Lilly3239 60 mg Any suggestions on how to find out what these are? ive tried searching for drug identification...but no luck

pharmacy question? Which electronic drug information source contains information on laboratory tests, infectious diseases, and drug identification, as well as a medical dictionary? A. Drugdex by Micromedex B. Lexi-Comp's Clinical Reference Library C. Medical Drug Reference by Parsons Technology D. AskAdvice
A mysterious round red pill..? I found this small bright red pill, which is round, and split in the middle by a groove. It has the markings 'PL' on the top and '40' on the bottom. Compulsory (Even FORCED) HIV Testing for All Citizens + Human Branding/Tattooing Identification? They say 1/4 of all HIV victims are unaware that they have the disease. At first, I thought everyone with AIDS should be separated from society, but that's impractical, financially and in other ways, too. What if all US citizens were required to get yearly HIV tests? For those who can't afford it, the test would be free for those under a certain income bracket. Anybody who does not get tested each year will be arrested and charged with crime. Anyone who turns out to have the virus should have a permanent mark made by branding or tattooing (sedated, of course) (maybe on the inside of the elbow, so it doesn't show during business settings). That way, potential sex partners can simply check the person's elbow, as well as drug accomplices, etc. I wish everyone could be responsible and avoid casual sex, test regularly on their own, use condoms, and avoid intravenous drugs, but that's not the way it is. This disease must be eradicated, even if it takes force. Even prisoners, should be taken by the police in handcuffs to the blood-drawing table. I'm oversimplifying my idea, and possibly the concept, but that's what I want to do. Once everyone's tested, even those identified HIV positive will be treated no differently than anyone else, unless anyone wants to check their elbow. Those medically recorded to be HIV positive would be exempt from any future HIV testing unless a vaccine was found. The dormant nature of the virus is why I advocate testing each year.
Do you have to be a certain age to buy condoms? I'm 16, and if I just walked into a drug store & tried to buy condoms, would they ask for identification or something?!!? That sounds so silly but...Idk!!
Should parents be banned from homeschooling their children? I say YES! It is the government's job to ensure children are educated; who knows what parents are teaching them! Children need socialization without children grow up shy, lonely and have little to none self esteem. I knew a home schooled boy who was racist, thought the world was 2009 years old and didn't loose his virginity until he was married; he only had 1 friend. Many countries in Europe have outlawed homeschooling; for example Germany has had a ban on homeschooling since 1938. Parents should not be allowed to teach their children rubbish; any parent who home schools should be arrested and charged with child cruelty. Not to mention public school teaches sex education, evolution, homosexual parenting and drug identification; all of these are VERY important for a child to know. Parents have NO right to fill their child's head with rubbish and shouldn't have the right to take them away from a very important part of life - the public school.
Pill Identification/placebo Question? Answers by doctors or nurses preferred.? About ten days ago I had a knee injury (possible torn ACL, MCL or hyperextention). I do not see the orthopedic surgeon until Thursday, and my doctor has been prescribing me 5mg oxycodone (percocet) 2 tablets evert 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain. I recently ran out of my prescription so I called in a refill. When I got to the pharmacy to pick up my medication, I noticed a label on the bottle that said something like "This is the same exact drug you have been taking but may be different in shape, color or size". So, I took 2 right away because it had been almost eight hours since my last dose, and after taking it there seemed to be no effect at all on my pain and did not at all make me feel anything like the original oxycodone I had been taking. Is it possible that my doctor for whatever reason prescribed me a placebo drug because he believes my pain is not legitimate or as severe as I make it out to be? Is this something that is even a remote possibility?
Can the police demand identification for no reason? Over the course of the last few years, I've had a lot of problems arise in my life. As a student, I still live at home and with my family, and that situation only seems to be getting worse and worse. Any relationships that I attempt to start with girls only end up with me being cornered and fenced off into the "Friend Zone". Rather than turning to drugs or alcohol, I take my mind off of my problems by walking. I don't do anything extreme such as inter-state travel, but I can typically walk around 20 or 30 miles a day if I don't have anything better to do. There's been a few times in the last few months where I've been accosted by a police officer who thinks that my walking activity is "suspicious", and has asked me to show proper identification. Most of the time I've been lucky enough to have a school ID on me, but typically I don't carry anything in my pockets except money for culinary expenses. I guess the thing that I'm wondering is whether or not it's even legal for a police officer to ask a person to identify them self when they're doing an activity as innocuous as walking. It's not like I'll be walking down the road smoking or a joint or stumbling back and forth with a bottle wrapped in a paper bag under my arm. I walk like a normal person, albeit more quickly. I'd like to know how I'm supposed to deal with this. I consider myself to be very far left-leaning on the political spectrum, and as such, I'm not a big fan of police, and I have a hard time being overly respectful to them. I feel almost like I'm living in some sort of neo-fascist police state when I can't even travel by foot without being accosted by some authority figure or another. What should I do? Can I tell the police that I don't have identification without any legal repercussions? Do I have to tell them my name and address if they ask? What happens if I go crazy and decide to walk across a few different states and live in a tent for a while? I mean, I wouldn't really even *have* an address if that were the case. David, I've never even asked this question before, so I don't see what your problem is. And if I had asked this question in a different section of Yahoo! Answers or on a leftist (or even on a highly conservative) website, most people would agree with me. I'm not trying to "defend" myself. There's nothing to defend. We're all entitled to our own opinions. I'm asking a question while attempting to explain my position; I'm not looking for a lecture on the morality of police forces. "The LAW states you must have ID on you at all times. Oddly you appear to be an intelligent person, I'm surprised your asking this question" --- You shouldn't be too surprised. I've never met anybody whose experienced an incident in which a police officer pulls over to the side of the road and demands identification from a random person. It's not as if I'm speeding along the road in a red Ferrari on the inside of a school zone. I've just never encountered anything like this, nor have I had to deal with it before.
I need an information about Illegal Drug Indentifications... the chemical processes... for my Forensic Chem..? Examples of this Identification are the Marquis Test, Barbeture Test, and other test... i tried to check the net but with no results
pill identification? I found a big white pill. Kind of ovalish, football shape. Very big, about a half an inch thick. I found it in my mom's drug stash (she abuses ambien, xanax, seroquel, restoril if that helps) so im thinking the pill was probably an antidepressant, pain killer, antianxiety or sleep pill because thats all my mom takes. it had (i cant remember exactly) the word west, then a -, and another 4 or 5 letter word. (looking like west-wordthatidontremember). numbers on the back, of course. i know i should have written everything from the pill down because i know that my description is so vague. lol. but can anyone help me? i really need to know because im trying to figure out ways to get my mom off of drugs... to do so i want to know exactly what pills she is abusing ect etc etc... it said west-ward. that was exactly what it was. and my mom has been in rehab before but checked out. im not sure how to help her. ive told her she's got until summer to sober up or im moving out for good. (im 17, graduating in may). not sure if this will help her realize what shes losing (her kids/family), but i know i wont be driven crazy by her being an addict. that sounds selfish, yes, but ive been the only one on her side for years now with her addictions and im sick of being drug thru the crap.
Are you required by law to carry around identification? Recently I was at a party where there was alcohol, no drugs. Everyone was over 21, over 25 even. I was the only person who was not drinking. Things got kid of rowdy after awhile because we all started playing video games and it got heated because we were betting money. So one of the neighbours called the police. They came to tell us to turn the music down and to keep our voices down. They saw that there was alcohol and that we all looked young so they carded us all. When I told them I didn't have an ID on me they asked me why and I responded by telling them I don't drink and I wasn't driving so I didn't need one. They decided they were going to arrest me. The police officer was very rude and nasty to me and he shoved me around and pushed me into the car. We got to the station and I called my father, who used to be a judge in the state of Maryland, the state I live in, and who is now a practicing lawyer. My father brought along my wallet in the event they were going to try and cite me for underage drinking. He informed them that there is no law requiring American citizen to carry around identification with them. If you aren't drinking, if you aren't driving, or if you aren't making credit card purchases then you do not need to have an ID on you. The officers called someone up and about an hour later they let me go with my father without charge or citation. These police officers embarrassed me in front of my friends and my family. They were rude to me, they man handled me, and they lied to me. All things I would expect from a police officer. My father said he will help me to file a lawsuit, but I want to be sure that it is not illegal to not carry an ID on you in the state of Maryland. Why would they have arrested me if it weren't illegal? Shouldn't police officers know the laws they are supposed to enforce? Let me say, they said they had no plans of charging me with underage drinking. They did not arrest me on suspicions of underage drinking. This is actually really scary. With the way the government has been expanding lately I worry these things will happen more and more. Okay, you people are ALL wrong. The Supreme Court of the United States ruled that citizens are not require to have ID on them. Stop giving out false information.
The plain touch doctrine allows seizure of evidence from a suspect without a warrant, but limits the purpose? of the search that discovers the evidence to looking for A. weapons B. drugs C. identification D. stolen goods

Now that police will be able to ask every citizen in Arizona that looks Hispanic for identification, should? we also force every person who looks middle eastern to undergo a bomb inspection and background check at the officers whim. Should we also make it legal for police to stop every one who is black for random drug testing. I propose that an amendment be added to avoid constant harassment of us Hispanics who passed the legality test. Maybe force us to brand some type of logo on our clothing. You know to avoid being constantly profiled. It sure does feel like the 1930's. *poor economy *society looks for a scapegoat *Discrimination against a culture becomes acceptable and legal. I wonder what happens next? I'm all for immigration reform but this law is designed to target one group of people. Mainly those who aren't white, blond haired and blue eyed. Carol T, while I'm sorry for your experience I would like to remind you of the thousands of Latina girls who are kidnapped from there home countries by white anglos and used in the sex industry. Criminals crossing borders is a problem for every country. "hd" your obviously white and have no idea what it feels like to be racially profiled. Ha, I was waiting for you to quote me on that. It allows me to bring up my next question. It doesn't feel to good does it. And it's not white people I hate. I don't hate white people. I detest people who can't see what this law implies. "Isn't that a violation of the American citizen's rights? No....not if they aren't citizens of America a.k.a. illegal immigrants." Did you make up a quote?...... nice. Well American rights are the least of my concern when basic human rights are being violated.
where can I find affordable medical identification in GB? I have Diabetes Type 1. Too ill to talk.? I have so many life threatening conditions and cannot always remember what drugs or food I am eating which is of course no help to the medics. If someone could suggest somewhere I could get something, bearing in mind that I am full time unemployed.
How can we help our friend that is addicted to drugs? My husband and I have taught this young lady off and on for several years. First as a homeschool student and then as a GED student. She means a great deal to us. She lost contact with us for about 4 months, now she is back and heavily drug addicted (we think meth, crack or an opiate) as well as her usual pot. My husband had extensive training in the Army on drug abuse identification. We want to help her without enabling her. Her parents are heavily into drugs and have allowed her to go to court to be an emancipated minor. She is 17. We paid her rent and her phone bill, so she would not be out on the streets and would have a way to contact us. We are not made out of money and quite truthfully we don't want to extend any more financial help to her until she can at least break free of the boyfriend that is a major druggie. We would buy her food and toilet paper if we needed to, but no cash whatsoever. What else can we do to help without enabling?

Should I fight my DUI or take the courts plea? So, I got a DUI for drug metabolites only, no alcohol was involved. They also charged me for: Reporting with false identification; bearing false identification; drug paraphernalia possession; marijuana possession. All things listed those are some heavy fines in Arizona. None of them very serious though. It would cost me around $2250 to clear those fines. And that's if I don't get the DUI. They are telling me they will waive that $2250 in charges if I plead guilty to the lowest degree of DUI for the state of Arizona. Not legit with me in all honesty. I want to fight it, but if I lose then I will surely have to at least pay the paraphernalia and marijuana charges which is like $1900. That said, it's on top of the DUI charge which totals to around $1500. My case is that the cops claimed to have pulled me over because the nearby clubhouse (in my neighborhood parking lot) had the alarm go off or get tripped or something and I was the only car there at like 10:30 p.m. But I hadn't smoked in hours and I was just lying down, keys out of the ignition, listening to some music. And they shined flashlights in my window, well anyway it was either cops or someone trying to hurt me because no one else was around, so I started my car drove 5 feet in the parking lot and the cops turned the sirens on so I stopped immediately, I do remember overreacting a little in panic realizing that it looked like I was trying to get away, so I like opened my door and put my hands up haha, anyway they were just like "get back in! [retard]" but okay humor aside...they were not pulling me over for dui or for possession, they saw the weed and stuff in plain view so they got me easy on that, but they can't charge me with a DUI can they!? They asked when I smoked and I said not here I smoked like hours ago and I have a very high tolerance! They made me do alcohol tests and then drew my blood for metabolites and they blood tests passed (duh!) so now what? SORRY THIS IS SO D*MN LONG! Do I fight the DUI and the other charges and hope just to pay more in return for having no DUI on my record. OR do I just accept the DUI and jail time and bull-ISH and get all the other stuff waived for free?
I need identification of a pill!? I need to know how to figure out what this pill is. It is oblong, brown and has "P 009" on it. I would also like to know what exactly do the numbers on prescription drugs mean??
Mexico opens Calif. office to provide identification for illegal aliens. click onto this unbelievable story? or have you already heard about it. Mexico opened up an office on Catalina Island to provide identification for illegals they are call Marticular consular IDs. If you read the article it says that this island is used for mexican nationals to run drugs into the US. I know its hard to believe but heres another shocker the Mexican Govt. asked or told our Govt not to enforce immigration laws on this island. In the story an ICE agent said he was sick and tired of Mexico telling us how we would enforce our immigration laws. This immigration thing is totally out of hand period.

Do you think it is wrong or not? Identifications of the pathogens from the uterine secretions of 31 endomeritis bovines in the ambient area of Daqing were carried out and their Pathogenicity were tested. The results showed that the major pathogens are Staphylococcus aureus、Streptococcus uberis、streptococcus pyogenes、Escherichia coli and Bacillus cereus. Job interview at walmart for overnight stocker...? I have an interview tomorrow afternoon at Walmart (it is one in Canada, just incase there's a difference in Walmart's interviewing methods like the need to take a drug test?! Not sure if they do that here in Canada), just wondering if they still have you do three different interviews? They told me to allow for one hour and to bring identification for photocopying purposes. Wouldn't they want to photocopy my ID during my second or third interview? Does that mean for this particular position there's only one interview? I'm kind of scared of the fact that they do three separate interviews! Can they actually have copies of your ID before they hire you? Or are you pretty much a shoe-in once they photocopy the ID? Sorry for so many questions, I'm always (over) thinking! Thank you! "its not that big of a deal." I never said it was, nor did I think it was a high-security job. I don't really care, but bills and tuition need to be paid, thus I'm eager to get started. I was just curious.

Fraudulent Elections: Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc. Bush threatens to veto $442b defense bill if Congress investigates detainee abuses. Guantanamo Judge: “I don’t care about international law. I don’t want to hear the words ‘international law’ again. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause: The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc. Congressman: Muslims 'enemy amongst us' SB 24, Ohio law to muzzle "liberals" World history textbook used by seventh-graders at Scottsdale’s Mohave Middle School was pulled from classrooms mid-semester amid growing right criticism of the book’s unbiased portrayal of Islam Rallies planned against 'Islamofacism': Event to 'unify all Americans behind common goal' More... 4.) Supremacy of the Military: Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized. If you haven't seen the Oreo flash animation yet, see it here Bush’s Domestic Program Hit List Bush slashes domestic programs, boosts defense. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy. It's legal again, to fire gov't workers for being gay Bush calls for Constitutional ban on same-sex marriages Bush refuses to sign U.N proposal on women's "sexual" rights W. David Hager chairman of the FDA's Reproductive Health Drugs Advisory Committee does not prescribe contraceptives for single women, does not do abortions, will not prescribe RU-486 and will not insert IUDs. Controlled Mass Media: Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Religion and Government are Intertwined: Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions. Jerry Falwell cleared of charges that he broke federal election law by urging followers to vote for Bush NC congressman proposes law making it ok to preach politics from the pulpit Texas Governor Mobilizes Evangelicals Family research council: Justice Sunday Thou shalt be like Bush: What makes this recently established, right-wing Christian college unique are the increasingly close - critics say alarmingly close - links it has with the Bush administration and the Republican establishment. Corporate Power is Protected: The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite. The K Street Project is a project by the Republican party to pressure Washington lobbying firms to hire Republicans in top positions, and to reward loyal GOP lobbyists with access to influential officials. It was launched in 1995, by Republican strategist Grover Norquist and House majority leader Tom DeLay. American Conservative Magazine: One U.S. contractor received $2 million in a duffel bag... and a U.S. official was given $7 million in cash in the waning days of the CPA and told to spend it “before the Iraqis take over.” There are 6 Congressional Committees investigating the Oil-for-Food (UN) scandal, yet not a single Republican Committee Chairman will call a hearing to investigate the whereabouts of 9 billion dollars missing in Iraq Bush money network rooted in Florida, Texas: Since Mr. Bush took office in 2001, the federal government has awarded more than $3 billion in contracts to the President's elite 2004 Texas fund-raisers, their businesses, and lobbying clients More... 10.) Labor Power is Suppressed: Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed. Labor Department warns unions against using their money politically President Bush Attacks Organized Labor: Bush attacked organized labor Saturday, issuing orders effectively reducing how much money unions can spend for political activities and opening up government contracts to non-union bidding. March 2001: President Bush signed his name to four executive orders on organized labor last month, including one that cuts the money unions will have for political campaign spending. Congress and the Department of Labor are trying to change the rules on overtime pay, eliminating the 40 hour work week, taking eligibility for overtime pay away from millions of workers, and replacing time and a half pay with comp days. More... 11.) Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts: Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts. Bush's new economic plan cuts funding for arts, education Artists from all over the world are being refused entry to the US on security grounds. Obsession with Crime and Punishment: Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations American Gestapo is here: "There is hereby created and established a permanent police force, to be known as the 'United States Secret Service Uniformed Division.'" America: secret jails, secret courts, secret arrests, and now secret laws Snitch-or-Go-to-Jail bill will make pretty much anything short of reporting on everyone you see for doing just about anything a jailable offense. With minimum sentences, up to and including life without parole. The problem with Gonzales is that he has been deeply involved in developing some of the most sweeping claims of near-dictatorial presidential power in our nation's history, allowing him to imprison and even (at least in theory) torture anyone in the world, at any time Police officers don't have to give a reason at the time they arrest someone, the U.S. Supreme Court said in a ruling that shields officers from false-arrest lawsuits. More... 13.) Rampant Cronyism and Corruption: Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders. Bush Cronyism: Foxes Guarding the henhouse Making Sense of the Abramoff Scandal If Bush's pick is confirmed, that will mean the five top appointees at Justice have zero prosecutorial experience among them. Iran-Contra Felons Get Good Jobs from Bush Big Iraq Reconstruction Contracts Went To Big Donors Bush Wars -- Crooks Get Contracts : The main companies that were awarded billions of dollars worth of contracts in Iraq have paid more than $300 million in fines since 2000, to resolve allegations of fraud, bid rigging, delivery of faulty military equipment, and environmental damage. US Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) lost track of $9 billion "Contracting in the aftermath of the hurricanes has been marked by waste, corruption and cronyism" More... 14. Fraudulent Elections: Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections. Identifying health concerns? This afternoon, I was helping my sister with her health homework and she was writing about a health concern that affect youth. She chose drugs and alcohol. On the list of criteria, one of the points was 'identification of the health concern' What does that mean exactly and how could she answer that?
what else can I add to this? Today’s workforce in the United States of America is estimated to be 65 million people. An issue that has become very large in the eyes of many employee. All across the nation, employees and their companies are figuring ways to invade others privacy. The laws are not clear as to the definition of employee privacy, which opens the doors to abuse by employers and general public. Even though useful software exists, some employers still prefer the traditional methods of surveillance. Methods such as eavesdropping on phone calls, recording are still being used in all types of business. Workplace surveillance can benefit the employer in many cases it can even have a benefit for the employee. Theft in the workplace is a common reason for workplace surveillance, which can often mean losses to the company, and thusly losses to the employer in terms of benefits such as security as well. Most of these negative aspects involve privacy, de-motivation, and stress. “Internet surveillance” is the active surveillance of user’s Internet activities. When users operate a computer on the Internet activities, a record of sites that were visited and the operations that were performed by the user can be generated by Internet surveillance software. Also known as spyware, this software is able to track the user’s activities and report this to the employers with various techniques. “Desktop surveillance” on the other hand, works by the employer’s computer intercepting a signal that given off by the employee’s computer. That is done through specific surveillance software that could be remotely or physically installed on the employee’s machine. *When people use a computer that belongs to their employers, the employer has a right to monitor what their employer do with the computer. The employer doesn’t want to risk being held responsible if an employee uses that come to mind are drug dealing, child porn, predator, stalker, So just to name a few. Video surveillance cameras for the company, they can monitor and make sure nobody is wasting the company time this can also enable a company to see where they can lose people, thus reducing their expenses, and improving the bottom line. A business can benefits from video surveillance in many ways. [1]CCTV acts as a deterrent from theft by both staff and external people. [2]CCTV provides evidence of crime regardless if committed by staff or people visiting, this can defend staff also. [3]Managers can measure operational efficiency and even perform market analysis.[4]CCTV can discover health &safety issues. It is clear that video surveillance not only benefits the company, but can also help staff by protecting company profits which eventually pay the staff. In some circles this is called LOSS PREVENTION. Most disadvantages of video surveillance in the work place relate to the issue of those who are worried about being under surveillance. This means staff & even management who may feel their civil liberties are under threat or do not want to be discovered doing something they shouldn’t. The uncomfortable feeling that someone is watching making you feel that you must be doing something is bad enough for some people. Even those at the top of the company are at risk of being recorded doing something they shouldn’t. The benefits seem to outweigh the disadvantages. In any cases, the company would only spend money on a surveillance system to the advantage of the company in order to save money, protected the business and everybody’s pay checks. Just my opinion, but I think any company that would treat its employees like criminals rather than valued assets gets what it deserves: higher costs, lower loyalty. The morale is likely to be lower since employees may now be worried about communication with other employees. They may worry that communication may look like chatting and will thus minimize useful communication. Adding to the problems, companies may hire somebody who appeared to be wasting time and was actually working. This could mean future lawsuits. Also, the company has to go through the expense of more equipment with no immediate payback, and hiring of more individuals or a company to monitor these screens. Lower morale of the monitoring has the potential to backfire by reducing productivity and increased turnover and retraining issue that this causes. Id badges are used to track you via rfia chips they records your whereabouts in the building, whether you are late to work or if you leave early, they are securely used to gather data about how long your breaks are and how much times you spend in the café or smoke areas, problem people will get weeded out or fired based on this data however do to legal reasons they will never tell you this data is being used against you. You have a right to privacy and that right is not there. But it safer for the companies. Mostly companies use badges that are called “Active Tag” they are benefits to the companies in several ways. Some benefits include grater visibility within facility, increased security, added convenience with hand-free identification, and easily installed on existing network infester. Active tags are use at several places. Here are some places they use at: corporate facilities, government facilities, prisons, warehouse and disruption yards, airports, and hospitals. This ID badge can track or reads at a distance over 35 feet. Has Immigration become a business and as such beyond control anymore .? I found while looking at immigration that Its a business and Is larger then many other practices of law . 1 - 10 of about 11,300,000 for Immigration lawyers - 0.27 sec. 1 - 10 of about 3,180,000 for Dui lawyers - 0.62 sec. 1 - 10 of about 7,870,000 for drug attorneys - 0.36 sec. 1 - 10 of about 1,910,000 for check fraud attorneys - 0.45 sec. Immigration is a thriving business and from what I have read extremely complicated involving the services of a professional . What would the Lawyers/attorney's who write the laws do for work if we uncomplicated the immigration laws . SO the path to freedom is nothing more then dozens of complicated legal hopes that must be negotiated properly to become a citizen . Why not make it simple and do as they do with drug dealers where you forfeit your home ,cars, bank accounts ,boats, land if you knowingly employ or rent to illegals . Then make it a crime to use false Identification which results in the removal of the entire family from U.S soil

Will Florida legalize Marijuana for Medical Purposes? My name is Hector Millan. Im a Floridian residing in the Kenneth City, FL. Im 23 years old and I had a question I wanted to ask you sir. How would you feel about Medical Marijuana if it was legalized after the voting for the Elections of 2006. Im asking all the Candidates that are running for Governor this year to find the right vote. Sir, according to the Department of Health website at = (http://www.doh.state.fl.us/disease_ctrl/aids/updates/facts/usfl.html) Florida is third behind New York, and California with more than 75,000 AIDS cases that have been reported and this is before the year 2000! In California patients who are eligible to get a Medical Marijuana Prescription are required to carry a Prop. 215 Medical Marijuana Identification Card in order for the Doctors to know that they are eligible to get a prescription. In this website (http://www.rivcommic.org/downloads/DHS_9042_Application-Renewal_Form.pdf) from Riverside County they have an application for the Patients Medical Marijuana Application/Renewal Program sponsored by the State of California Health and Human Services Agency and the Dept. Of Health Services. I believe if Florida does the same and starts an application process for the patients with cancer, anorexia, AIDS, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, migraine, or any other illness for which marijuana provides relief that it would do the State of Florida better. This would benefit our state by dropping a crime rate. It would lead to fewer arrests, fewer people growing it, and selling it. Our jail here in Pinellas county is already overpopulated. Marijuana arrests totaled 786,545 and if this Medical Marijuana law would be a current law, the arrests would shrink by roughly half. Enforcing marijuana prohibition costs taxpayers between $10 billion and $12 billion annually and has led to the arrest of nearly 18 million Americans. Nevertheless, some 94 million Americans acknowledge having used marijuana during their lives. It would benefit everyone if people adapted to California's State Prep. 215. Sir, basically I just wanted to know, "What's the difference in us being in Florida and not being able to get the MEDICAL USE OF MARIJUANA as to California?" ACCORDING TO A REASERCH STUDY: More than 60 per cent of all people prescribed pharmaceutical drugs end up with a drug-related problem which results in almost nine million hospital admissions a year at an estimated cost of $47.4 billion. As a matter of fact, it is estimated that more than 28 per cent of all hospital admissions in 1992 were due to drug-related illness and that somewhere between 80,000 and 200,000 people died from complications involving prescription medicines. In comparison, it is estimated that the direct cost of diabetes to the American economy was $45 billion in 1992 and that of heart disease was $117 billion. The researchers conclude that drug-related illness and death should be considered one of the leading diseases in the United States. Even such over the counter drugs such as Tylenol were diagnosed. An FDA review found more than 56,000 emergency room visits a year due to acetaminophen overdoses. Alcohol itself killed 150,000 people. No one was diagnosed with a death leading from an overdose of Marijuana. Every week, 52 weeks a year, some 8000 people in this country die from tobacco-related diseases, their lives ended prematurely by an aggressive tobacco industry and the addictive properties of nicotine From illicit drugs such as cocaine, and heroin there were around 5,000 deaths. Thank You, Hector E. Millan
should you report your friend, a rn, for stealing drugs from work? my friend has had a history of drug abuse. she is an rn that works for hospice. i kind of thought she had relapsed cause for the past couple of months she had been sloppy, had massive mood swings, and is constantly falling asleep on me in mid conversation. last week i was at her apartment when she yet again collapsed during a movie. i took it upon myself to snoop around and found several bottles of medication with the labels removed. after looking up the meds on a pill identification site i found them to be oxycodone 40s and 80s, oxycontin, and percocet. im not only worried for her safety but the safety of the patients that she cares for. id never want to get her in any legal situation, or cause her to lose her license, but i also dont want to see her overdose or unintentionally harm a patient. when i confronted her she told me that the medications were only leftovers from deceased patients, that she was supposed to dispose of them. she told me that she doesnt use them on the clock, and that being a nurse she knows what to take and how to take it. i dont know if i should leave well enough alone and keep my friend, or if i should talk to someone. her mother? the hospital? i dont know what to do and i dont know that its my place to say anything or not.
would you like being dragged by your hair and beaten? Citizens on the borders Sat,29,2006 by Joe Castro News editor Illegal immigration is one of the hottest issues burning in Americans’ minds. One debate I have been hearing a lot about is the vigilante movement to protect the U.S. border along Mexico. One group among many on the border is called the Minutemen. This group of citizens gathered in Arizona last month to patrol the border and send illegal immigrants home. This might be a great way to stop illegal immigrants from crossing into the United States. The Border Patrol spends millions each year, using high-tech equipment and thousands of personnel to capture people. Border Patrol agents must be highly trained and fluent in Spanish before they patrol, and still thousands of people cross over. Students probably have not heard about the incidents of abuse by groups of citizens like the Minutemen. According to the Border Action Network, there have been thousands of incidents reported about people being dragged by their hair, beaten by night sticks and even shot at during their crossings. The Minutemen are nothing new; there are several groups that have been actively patrolling the border and committing abuses against illegal immigrants as well as Mexican American citizens. These groups have also been advocated by many neo-Nazi and hate groups. I’ll break for a minute to say I don’t think every citizen that volunteers to patrol the border is a racist. That is like saying that every immigrant that comes to the U.S. is here to commit a violent act, traffic drugs or take advantage of our freedoms. That is not the case, but it should be questioned whether it’s a good idea that citizens armed with guns and clubs should be left to patrol border areas with the assumption that nothing bad will happen. We should also ask how these groups are handling illegals and, when captured, are these groups accountable for human rights violations? I think these groups are not accountable for abuses and need to be stopped or heavily regulated. I am not saying to do nothing about the illegal immigration problem. Instead of building walls or pouring money into the ineffective Border Patrol, we should look at improving identification programs and opportunities for workers to have some legal status, which is being done, but has flaws. For those who complain that illegal immigrants are abusing health care programs and Social Security, remember that these people do pay taxes. In fact, according to an article in the New York Times, illegal immigrants paid roughly $7 billion to Social Security last year and $1.5 billion to Medicare. Hand it to the Americans to want to do what the government is failing to do, but nothing good can come from allowing angry people to wander the desert hunting for Mexicans.
Do you realize here are the type of criminals entering America illegally? Five bodies found in desert;? Five bodies were found in southern Arizona's desert during the weekend, and a suspected marijuana smuggler was shot and wounded in an unrelated incident, authorities said Monday. In the shooting, a wounded man came across U.S. Border Patrol agents about 20 miles north of the Mexican border near Interstate 19 about midnight Sunday, said Santa Cruz County Sheriff Antonio Estrada. Deputies were called, Estrada said, and the man told investigators that he and 10 other people had crossed into Arizona at Sasabe about three days earlier. As they walked through the desert Sunday night, two armed men wearing dark clothing approached them and, without saying a word, opened fire on the group, hitting the man twice. He said he dived for cover and hid while the other people in his group scattered, Estrada said. The man said he and the other group members were to meet someone in Amado who would drive them farther into the United States. However, Estrada said, "We have strong suspicion he (the wounded man) was part of a group that was backpacking marijuana." Estrada did not say whether the shooting was part of a drug theft. The wounded man is a 34-year old from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Estrada said, adding he was in stable condition at a hospital. By late Monday morning, Estrada said, none of the other group members had been found. Here are accounts of the five bodies found during the weekend: ● On Saturday morning, the owner of the Atascosa Ranch, near I-19 and about 13 miles north of the border, found the body of a man suspected to be an illegal immigrant on the ranch's land, Estrada said. On Friday at about 7:15 p.m., a Border Patrol agent patrolling about five miles east of Lukeville in the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument found the body of a 43-year-old suspected illegal immigrant. The man was found within a few yards of the Mexican border, said Border Patrol Agent Sean King. ● About noon Saturday a Border Patrol agent found the skeletal remains of a person about 13 miles east of Arivaca, King said. The agent could not tell the approximate age or the gender of the person. ● And, about noon Sunday a National Guard crew on patrol in a helicopter about 18 miles north of Lukeville spotted two decomposing bodies in the desert, King said. Neither of the two male bodies had identification, he said. The five bodies bring to 143 the number of suspected illegal entrants found dead in the southern Arizona desert since Oct. 1, the beginning of the federal fiscal year, according to Border Patrol and Tucson Citizen records. http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/daily/local/58129.php

star if you think these are funny? RUNNER-UP #9 Yankton, South Dakota: A woman was arrested at her step son's Boy Scout meeting. While watching a policeman demonstrate his drug dog's ability, the dog found a bag of grass in her purse. RUNNER-UP #8 Colorado Springs: A guy walked into a little corner store with a shotgun and demanded all the cash from the cash drawer. After the cashier put the cash in a bag, the robber saw a bottle of scotch that he wanted behind the counter on the shelf. He told the cashier to put it in the bag as well, but he refused and said "Because I don't believe you are over 21." The robber said he was, but the clerk still refused to give it to him because he didn't believe him. At this point the robber took his drivers license out of his wallet and gave it to the clerk. The clerk looked it over, and agreed that the man was in fact over 21 and he put the scotch in the bag. The robber then ran from the store with his loot. The cashier promptly called the police and gave the name and address of the robber that he got off the license. They arrested the robber two hours later. RUNNER-UP #7 A woman was reporting her car as stolen, and mentioned that there was a car phone in it. The policeman taking the report called the phone and told the guy that answered that he had read the ad in the newspaper and wanted to buy the car. They arranged to meet, and the thief was arrested. RUNNER-UP #6 San Francisco: A man, wanting to rob a downtown Bank of America, walked into the branch and wrote "this iz a stikkup. Put all your muny in this bag." While standing in line, waiting to give his note to the teller, he began to worry that someone had seen him write the note and might call the police before he reached the teller window. So he left the Bank of America and crossed the street to Wells Fargo. After waiting a few minutes in line, he handed his note to the Wells Fargo teller. She read it and, surmising from his spelling errors that he was not the brightest light in the harbor, told him that she could not accept his stickup note because it was written on a Bank of America deposit slip and that he would either have to fill out a Wells Fargo deposit slip or go back to Bank of America. Looking somewhat defeated, the man said "OK" and left. The Wells Fargo teller then called the police who arrested the man a few minutes later, as he was waiting in line back at Bank of America. RUNNER-UP #5 From England: A motorist was unknowingly caught in an automated speed trap that measured his speed using radar and photographed his car. He later received in the mail a ticket for 40 Pounds and a photo of his car. Instead of payment, he sent the police department a photograph of 40 Pounds. Several days later, he received a letter from the police that contained another picture...of handcuffs. The motorist promptly sent the money for the fine. RUNNER-UP #4 Drug Possession Defendant Christopher Jansen, on trial in March in Pontiac, Michigan, said he had been searched without a warrant. The prosecutor said the officer didn't need a warrant because a "bulge" in Christopher's jacket could have been a gun. "Nonsense," said Christopher, who happened to be wearing the same jacket that day in court. He handed it over so the judge could see it. The judge discovered a packet of cocaine in the pocket and laughed so hard he required a five minute recess to compose himself. RUNNER-UP #3 Oklahoma City: Dennis Newton was on trial for the armed robbery of a convenience store in district court when he fired his lawyer. Assistant district attorney Larry Jones said Newton, 47, was doing a fair job of defending himself until the store manager testified that Newton was the robber. Newton jumped up, accused the woman of lying and then said, "I should of blown your (expletive) head off." The defendant paused, then quickly added, "If I'd been the one that was there." The jury took 20 minutes to convict Newton and recommended a 30-year sentence. RUNNER-UP #2 Detroit: R.C. Gaitlan, 21, walked up to two patrol officers who were showing their squad car computer felon-location equipment to children in a Detroit neighborhood. When he asked how the system worked, the officer asked him for identification. Gaitlan gave them his drivers license, they entered it into the computer, and moments later they arrested Gaitlan because information on the screen showed Gaitlan was wanted for a two-year-old armed robbery in St. Louis, Missouri. RUNNER-UP #1 Another from Detroit: A pair of Michigan robbers entered a record shop nervously waving revolvers. The first one shouted, "Nobody move!" When his partner moved, the startled first bandit shot him THE WINNER! A Charlotte, NC, man having purchased a case of very rare, very expensive cigars, insured them against fire among other things. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of cigars and without having made even his first premium payment on the policy, the man filed a claim against the insurance company. In his claim, the man stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires." The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion. The man sued....and won. In delivering the ruling the judge agreeing that the claim was frivolous, stated nevertheless that the man held a policy from the company in which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure against fire, without defining what it considered to be "unacceptable fire," and was obligated to pay the claim. Rather than endure a lengthy and costly appeal process the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid the man $15,000 for the rare cigars he lost in "the fires." After the man cashed the check, however, the company had him arrested on 24 counts of arson. With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the man was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine. ~~Please vote! Any police officers in Ontario, Canada that can help me out? I have written this e-mail to almost everywhere in my town, no one will help me! I'm in hell right now! I have a severe problem and I don't know where to turn to anymore. I have been living a nightmare for almost 3 months now. Called everywhere in the city, even health dept. No one believes me, no one can help me. I have been living in this townhouse for 12 years and have new neighbours since August. They are doing or burning something so strong, the scent comes through my cement walls and it is disgusting. At first I thought they were doing BBQ's in the house because I could smell something like soot. I called the fire dept. and she told them she burned hamburgers on the stove so the fire dept left. They were in the house not more than 5 minutes. Then, I thought it was some kind of incence but now I am almost sure they are doing some kind of drugs because when they do it strong, I feel drugged and my throat burns, I get dizzy and I feel like I'm going to faint. On their veranda, there are big black marks here and there which looks like soot. The taste of the smell stays in my mouth and nose all the time. They told management they cook with spices. I have never had any kind of food smells of any kind since I've lived here. So, management told me if I'm not happy to move and she didn't care if I was sick. My mother phoned her to try and talk to her because she smells it too. She yelled at my mother and told her that it's on my side that it smells and she doesn't know what I put in my cigarettes and hung up. I smoke cigarettes in my basement but I am 100% against DRUGS. I asked a man who works for the owner to come and smell my walls when they do it so he came and told me it wasn't my imagination, he could smell it too! He said it smelled something like soot or weed... Next day, he calls me and tells me he's going at the neighbour's house with police officers. 2 young police officers arrived before him and went in the house for a little less than 5 minutes. The Mr. who lives there worked security guard at the court house so he's always quick to show his identification. She told them she cooks with spices and uses a spray and the cops believed them. The young police officer came to see me and asked me what was my problem? He was really rude and told me not to call the police or the fire dept. anymore because they wouldn't come and they had better things to do. He told me that I was lucky they didn't bring me to court for harassment or racism. I then phoned the RCMP drug investigations and told him my story and pleaded him to investigate. He told me he would but as soon as he spoke to the officer who came here, he phoned me back and told me that he couldn't do anything. The officer lied to him. He told him that when he came at my house, he told me to phone him when I smelled it and he would come and investigate in my home. The mister hasn't been working for over a month now, don't know if he lost his job. He comes and goes most of the day for short times and as soon as he's in the house, he starts to do whatever it is they are doing. I am not crazy, my sons, my boyfriend, my mother and sister smell it too. I even asked a neighbour I don't even know to come and smell it when they are doing it. She had to leave the house because the smell was so strong, it was going to her throat. Me and my youngest son wear masks in the house when it is too strong. We also go for acupuncture for smell sensitivities. It helped at first but it doesn't work anymore. At first, my boyfriend tried to speak with the mister and explain that what they were doing was making me ill. He replied that they weren't doing anything and it was all in my imagination. His wife and sons always leave with packsacks. I have tried everything to mask the smell, bought big tower air purifiers and put air fresheners, spray my walls with vinegar... the smell goes through everything. I love my home and do not want to move. I'm trying to find a solution but don't know where to go. I have been on the phone for over 1 month, no one will help or believes me. If it isn't drugs and they are not selling it, how can they afford to stay there? Nobody works. PLEASE, do not phone the Ottawa police as they do not believe me. What am I to do? If it is drugs, we are being drugged against our will in our own home. I would need someone who is important enough to be believed to come in my house without my neighbours seeing them, smell the smell we have been smelling for almost 3 months now. Please help me end my nightmare! I am writing you right now with my mask on my mouth and nose because they are doing it. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have tried to move because management won't give me another unit and she doesn't want to give me a reference. Only serious answers please as this is no joke!!! PK, I can't, everytime I look for an apt. they call management for references and I lose the place. I'm stuck here! Hope everything is well for you.
