what is this pill? (pill identification question)? It's supposedly a sleeping pill, but i'm not sure if that's true. It's pink, round, with HC 3 on one side. On the other side, it's scored down the center. The HC is separated from the 3 by a line, like a fraction (HC over 3). Unknown Pill Identification? When I was younger, I went through a lot of pain killers and muscle relaxants, and I assume that this is one of them (I usually only keep pills because they were effective and I believe that I might need them in the future, should the current treatment lose efficacy, as a temporary fall-back treatment). This is one which obviously worked at low doses; they were all cut in half, and I currently have three halves in my possession. I can tell that on one side, half of it is "DAN", and on the other side, there are numbers - 56_0 (I can see the 56 on one half, and on another, I can see the 0, but not the number before it). I cannot, however, make out anymore of the letters. The pill is kind of tan/peach/off-white in color, and it's coated with something; a thin layer of coloring which is a different texture from the white substance in the middle. Can anyone identify this pill for me?

I found a pill in my sons room. Its dark purple, biconvex, blank on one side, imprinted with P and 11 under it? It's very small in size, and most pill identification sites are showing nothing. There are no score marks, its circular, and has a capital P with an 11 underneath it both on the same side. If you find a link to it, please show it to me. Pill Identification/placebo Question? Answers by doctors or nurses preferred.? About ten days ago I had a knee injury (possible torn ACL, MCL or hyperextention). I do not see the orthopedic surgeon until Thursday, and my doctor has been prescribing me 5mg oxycodone (percocet) 2 tablets evert 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain. I recently ran out of my prescription so I called in a refill. When I got to the pharmacy to pick up my medication, I noticed a label on the bottle that said something like "This is the same exact drug you have been taking but may be different in shape, color or size". So, I took 2 right away because it had been almost eight hours since my last dose, and after taking it there seemed to be no effect at all on my pain and did not at all make me feel anything like the original oxycodone I had been taking. Is it possible that my doctor for whatever reason prescribed me a placebo drug because he believes my pain is not legitimate or as severe as I make it out to be? Is this something that is even a remote possibility?
