pill/drug identification advice?
My 4 year old daughter was given a unknown pill, her description is that it was round, approx 5mm dia, pink and red with white dots/spots/speckles and a picture of a butterfly on it. Have any of you any idea what it is? I know what it may be, but need a definite answer on what it actually is and if anybody has seen one. This is VERY important so please, no speculations. Many thanks. Thanks for the replies up to now, especially the link that shows different MDMA pills with butterflies on, most helpful and gave my daughter something to point at. Luckily, she didn't swallow it. She said it tasted horrible and hurt her tongue so she spat it out. Police have been informed but as I informed them Friday and they didn't see her until yesterday, it's been a waste of time.

- call the pharmacy and describe it to them, they'll give you an answer.
- sounds like MDMA http://ecstasydata.org/results.php?A=SearchAll&Start=0&S=butterfly&OldSort=DPD&NewSort=&SField=Name This site may help
- a picture of a butterfly worries me - call any local pharmacy and ask for advice immediately ecstacy tablets are often branded with symbols or pictures
- w t f whos been giving your four year old pills???? pillidentifier.com but first call the police after you call 911
- Hi there, It is unlikely that anyone on here could give you a definite answer to be honest. If it is a 'pill' as in ecstasy then someone who knew probably wouldn't tell you. I'm not fully convinced it is a 'pill' as they don't tend to be coloured although they do tend to have pictures of animals, stars....all sorts. I am a Pharmacy technician and can't think of a pill of that description. Did your daughter have any side effects? If she did I hope you took her to hospital! even if it wasn't 'pill' then she should NOT be taking ADULT doses of medicine at the age of four! You need to see your pharmacist and you need to confront whoever it was who gave your child the pill and or call the police! Unless you know FOR SURE that it was a sweet or a tablet she should have be taking then do not leave anything to chance. Answers is not the place to be asking such important and possibly dangerous questions.
- DO NOT give the child the pill. it sounds very worrisome. http://www.drugs.com/pill_identification.html
